    • 2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival

     

    Planning for the 2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival is under way!

     

    This year's event is scheduled for March 16-18 in beautiful downtown Henderson. the parade will kick off at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17.

     

    In addition to the parade, there will be a carnival with rides and games, a car show, Irish music and dance, live entertainment, food, vendors and more.

     

    We are currently seeking sponsors for our event, as well as parade entries and vendors.

     

    St. Baldrick's

    Once again, proceeds from this year's parade and festival will benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation. St. Baldrick's funds childhood cancer research. Every year, hundreds of people from across the Las Vegas Valley shave their heads to raise money and show support for the young cancer patients.

     

    The Sons of Erin are planning to host a head-shaving event at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the Henderson Events Plaza Amphitheatre. We are seeking brave people to shave their heads in public. If that's not for you, you can still donate to our team. Anyone who would like to form their own team is invited to do so, too.
